The Ethics of Professional Helping in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
Ethics Conference Objectives are:
*The presentation will cover TCA 63-11, the Official Compilation, Rules and Regulations of the State of Tennessee, Chapters 1180-01, 1180-02, 1180-03, and 1180-04, the Ethical Principles of Psychologists, the BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance Code, and the CCMC Code of Conduct for Case Managers.
This conference is for Social Workers, Counselors, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Case Managers, Family Members, Administrators, and Behavioral Analysts/Specialists.
Continuing Education Credits
Psychologists: Frontier Health is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Frontier Health maintains responsibility for this program and its content. This program offers 3 CE credits for psychologists. Full attendance is required to receive credit for psychologists; variable credit for partial attendance may not be awarded based on the APA guidelines.
Behavior Analysts: TN-NADD is an Approved Continuing Education Provider with Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB #OP-12-2172). Selected sessions from this conference are eligible for BACB Type II continuing education credits as indicated at the conclusion of each session description. The program offers 3 BACB Type II credits.
Case Managers:3 CEUs have been approved for through CCMC for Certified Case Managers.
Certified Developmental Disabilities Nurse: 3 CEUs will be applied for CDDN or DDC certification renewal. Pending approval.
