From the President

489680_a1a49f01838249f0a0301f8bf0168f0cI have been President of the Tennessee Chapter of the National Association for Dually Diagnosed (TN-NADD) off and on for the last 10 years. Over that time, we have had some wonderful conferences that provide great training and information. This year’s conference will be no different.

First, we are lucky enough to Christina Carter as our Keynote speaker. Christina is the CEO of Smoky Mountain Managed Care Organization and a Master Trainer in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). DBT has been used with great success in persons with co-occurring IDD and borderline personality disorder. On top of that she’ll also talk to us about integrated care, a topic near and dear to my heart. And…three sessions will allow agency trainers to take home materials that they may use to train their staff. Folks, you can’t beat that with a stick!

Click “Conference 2016” to register. I hope to see you in August. We’ll have a grand ole’ time!
