Kris Roberts

Kris Roberts graduated from Western Carolina University with a master’s degree in clinical psychology and completed post-graduate work in behavior analysis at East TN State University. Her career has focused on improving the lives of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Most recently, she was the Intensive Consultation Team Director for the East Regional Office of the TN Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Mrs. Roberts has been an active member of Regions 1, 2, and 3 Community Provider Partnership meetings; TN Chapter of the National Association for Dual Diagnosis; Mental Health Coalition TN 10th Judicial District; Protection & Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness Advisory Council, Disability Rights TN; Vulnerable Adult Protective Investigative Team, Sullivan County TN, and TDMHSAS Region 2 Planning and Policy Council. She recently led a state-wide workgroup which developed a direct care training curriculum for improving trauma-informed care of those with IDD.
