People diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) have often been given none, or extremely faulty sexuality education. This lack of education sets them up for potentially traumatic interactions, from relationships through law enforcement.  Factors to consider in sex education will be explored.

 

 

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify common mistakes in sex education for individuals diagnosed with ASD
  2. Identify what needs to be taught to individuals diagnosed with ASD as regards sex/relationships
  3. Learn common programming mistakes that can set an individual up for abuse/trauma.
