Jessica Thompson
Jessica Thompson is currently a Director of a Tennessee 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to promoting learning, inclusion, & building meaningful connections, especially in underserved areas and communities. Ms. Thompson started her career in the field of social work and applied behavior analysis in 2008, working extensively with children then adults diagnosed with autism and other neurological disorders/comorbidities in the center, school, home and community-based settings, as well as working as a Qualified Mental Health Professional for children and adults through therapeutic foster care services. Over the past 17 years, she has held leadership and supervisory positions within the field of ABA in Virginia & Tennessee, directed private social skills groups for teens, developed private-day schools, and utilized her background in OT to develop occupational therapy pediatric components within ABA companies, as well as, in the field of functional neurology, supported the integration of traditional OT techniques & ABA principles
